Cherry Springs Ranch in Hunt, Texas

Storage Shed and Hen House
Next to the main barn, the storage shed is the small, red, wooden building shown here, to the right. It is conveniently located for additional hay or tool storage. The henhouse is actually divided into two separate compartments, is quite large, well secured, and is normal height so is easy to walk into and clean. It is surrounded by its own fence for extra protection from predators for chickens or other fowl, especially at night. It is the unpainted metal building shown to the right and set back in the picture above.

Cherry Springs Ranch in Hunt, Texas, is the old headquarters and home place of what was once one of the largest working cattle ranches in the area, encompassing tens of thousands of acres. Now 211 acres, the authentic quaintness and character of times gone by have been preserved and updated to create a unique private retreat suitable for personal as well as business pursuits. A composite of grasslands, range, bottomland along a constant-level creek, and high, densely wooded ridges, this spread represents every aspect of the beloved Texas Hill Country.
