About the Ranch
The ranch is not only suitable and set up as a horse property with two barns and an arena, but also accommodates cattle, sheep, or goats, hunting, and abundant wildlife. The property is agriculturally exempt for taxation purposes, and grant funding from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (a branch of the USDA) for cedar clearing has been approved. Since the ranch is not controlled by high game fencing, many indigenous as well as exotic species that are typical of the area roam through, including: white tail deer, axis deer, black buck, fallow deer, mountain lion, bobcats, wild boar, bald eagles, hawks of many varieties, osprey, egrets, herons, wild turkey, and of course porcupines, opossums, raccoons, skunks, armadillos, ring-tails, rabbits, squirrels, crows, ravens, and more.
The ranch compound is made up of 12 separate structures (not counting the old water towers), including four houses. Besides living quarters, these spaces are uniquely suitable for generating rental income, creating bed and breakfast accommodations, providing guest housing, or for using as business or extended-family quarters. Each house has its own fenced-in yard area for pets.
